Ruth Fletcher-Ferrill

A graduate of Hiram College and mother of six, RUTH L. FLETCHER-FERRILL recently returned home peacefully to be with her beloved husband of 31 years, John William Ferrill, and son Ted Fletcher, who preceded her in death.

Daughter of Lawrence Clifton Lemmon and Ruth Lemmon, ‘Ruthie’ as she was affectionately known by her friends, never missed remembering birthdays and special occasions and will be most fondly remembered by her friends and family for her always exuberant conversation while busily knitting up the next gift.

She is survived by her children: Jeannie Bates, Judy Kiser (Joe), Tim Fletcher, Dan Fletcher (Michelle), and Ray Fletcher (Jose); 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to make donations to the Church of the Epiphany in Washington, DC, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in College Park, MD, or to any charity of your choice.

A family memorial and interment for Ruthie will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
