Ruth Maschauer
June 25, 1915 — August 8, 2008
On Friday August 8, 2008 of Mount Rainier, MD. She was a resident of Hillhaven
Assisted Living for the past one and a half years. A 1941 graduate from Garfield
Memorial Hospital Nursing School. Her work at Garfield Memorial Hospital and the
D.C. Public Health department was very rewarding for Ruth. Beloved daughter of
the late Barbara A. Maschauer. She is survived by her siblings, Richard (Luciel)
Maschauer, Barbara Green, and Bernard (Della) Maschauer; eleven nieces and
nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Maschauer, Wilhelmina
Ritter, Kenneth Maschauer and one nephew. Family will receive friends on Tuesday
August 12, 2008 at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville,
MD from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Service will be held at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A. on
Wednesday August 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland,
MD.
