Silvia Labra

Silvia A. Labra, 96, of Cheverly, Maryland, died peacefully at home on Thursday November 17, 2022. She had been in the care of her loving and devoted husband and son. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alberto Labra; son, Luis Labra; and grandchildren, Nicole Marie Labra, Madalyn Rose Labra, Brannon Alexander Labra, and Adan James Labra.

Silvia was born in Puerto Vara, Chile in 1926. She immigrated to the United States in 1962, where she met and married her husband in 1968. Silvia worked as a housekeeper while married until she retired in 1996 to help care for her four grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Ambrose parish in Cheverly Maryland.

A viewing will be held at Gasch’s Funeral home at 4739 Baltimore Ave. Hyattsville, MD 20783 on Saturday November 26 from 12-2pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2pm at the same location.
