Superior Sister Romana Bloise
On Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 3:00 a.m., fell asleep in the Lord. She entered into the congregation at the age of 21. She came to America on December 4, 1954. She worked in the seminary, The Matha. She worked with many young men who later became priests. In 1974 she taught at the Sacred Hearts Nursery School, 4805 Queensbury Road, Riverdale, Maryland 20737. Sister Gioconda Gaglianone invited all friends and acquaintances to come forward to give their last respects. Her soul was escorted by 10 virgin girls. She is survived by her niece, Margie Knoll and her nephew, Joseph Pelaia, Jr. Friends may call at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 5205 43rd Avenue, Hyattsville, Maryland on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Sacred Hearts Nursery School.
