Susan Glidden

On November 16, 2019 at Washington Hospital Center. She was born on January 22, 1950 in Washington, DC to the late Robert Preston Butler and Mary Catherine (Gilroy) Butler. Susan was 13 of 13 children. She was predeceased by her siblings,   William Butler, Patrick Butler, Emily Butler, Cecil Butler, Charles Butler, Frances Grier, Barbara Johnson, Laura Jones and Edith Cross.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Marks (John), Heather Perez and Edward Weiss, Jr. (Chasity) and her grandchildren, John Marks, Addison Marks, Manuel Perez, Brendon Perez, Shayla Perez, Cheyenne Weiss, Savanna Weiss and Connor Weiss. She is also survived by her siblings, Catherine Butler Smith (Doug), John Butler (Abby), Mary Butler Smoot and many nieces and nephews.

She was a 1968 graduate of Duval High School and grew up in Riverdale. She was very proud of her large family and loved every opportunity to get together with them. Susan enjoyed music and spending time with her grandkids. She will be sorely missed by her children.
