Susan Karas

Susan Virginia Karas, 71, a long-time resident of Bladensburg, MD. Passed away on Wednesday, April 29th, 2020 at Sacred Heart Home in Hyattsville,MD.

Susan was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Betty Karas. She was born on October 16, 1948. Susan leaves behind her sisters Barbara (Sonny), Debra (Dan), Bette (Jeff), Jacqueline, Janet, and her brother Jim.

Susan was a dear and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. Her love for her family, jewelry, and Michael Jackson were her life. All of those who were fortunate to have known and loved Susan will miss her sweet nature and loving spirit. What the family has lost…heaven has gained. Rest in Peace, Our Precious Sue.

Interment will be private, with family only. We will hold a celebration of of life at a later date.

The wonderful sisters and healthcare providers of Sacred Heart took great care of Susan during her 10- year residency.
