Virginia "Ginny"

On August 18, of Greenbelt, MD, formerly (maiden name) Virginia Bird. She is survived by her children Laura Heenan, Barbara Gregory and Paul Stearn, and 11 grandchildren. She was dear daughter to the late Elizabeth Lanksbury and sister to the late Howard Bird. Virginia was born September 18, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. She received her MS degree in Education from Brooklyn College. She enjoyed teaching and later became a successful real estate agent for 31 years. She loved living in Greenbelt with her cats "Callie" and "Coco" and donated her time helping the Greenbelt Lions Club and GIVES. A memorial service will be held Sept 8, 2012 at 1 pm at the Greenbelt Community Church, 1 Hillside R., Greenbelt, MD 20770.
