The world lost a most beloved William G. Barlow suddenly on January 27, 2021, 8 days shy of his 66th birthday. Bill was a Maryland local, growing up in Takoma Park. Bill's beautiful wife, Leyla, preceded him in death, as well as his sister Dianne. Bill's kind and loving legacy lives on in his sister Marianne, his brother Doug, and his nieces Beth, Lydia, and Jennifer, and his nephews Eric, and Wayne. He also leaves behind a step-son, Rob, step-daughter, Leyla and their respective spouses and children and his grand children that he talking about with anyone who would listen. He was known as Pop Pop to his grandchildren. Bill was an avid fisherman but his greatest joy, besides his family, was helping other people. He was an active church goer and willingly volunteered not only his time on Sundays, but throughout the week to help those in need. Bill was well known for watching Westerns, wearing his cowboy hat, and his constant smile. He will be missed greatly. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
