Ms. Wilma D. Morgan was born on March 18, 1942 to the late Kathleen Harvey and Wycliffe Barrett in St. Ann, Jamaica. Wilma went on to be with the Lord on April 26, 2011.
Wilma was born the first of five children growing up in Jamaica and attended the Alderton Primary School. Wilma was very spiritual and active in her church, Woodstock Church of God of Prophecy, where with her sister, Reynell, they were two of the top singers in their district where they performed at community functions.
She migrated to the US in 1966. She traveled back and forth to Jamaica, where she married Allan Morgan and to this union three boys were born, Courtney, Neil and Garey.
Wilma worked as an LPN, she loved to sew and design clothing where she was a stickler in her designs. Everyone loved her cooking and was the full-time caregiver of her son, Neil.
Wilma leaves to cherish the memories of her three sons; Courtney, Neil and Garey (Nami) of San Diego, CA; step-father Ivan Harvey; three grandchildren, Emily, Darryl and Dominique; one great-grandchild, Lasaya; four sisters, Valsie Barrett, Raynell (Gladstone) Davis, Vivienne Harvey and Paula Harvey; one brother, Canute Barrett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Jamaica, US and Canada.
