Nancy D. Ksanznak, of University Park, MD, passed away on May 7th, at age 90. She was born Nancy Eleanor Dean in Indiana on September 17th, 1930. She was the oldest of six children born to Sheldon and Freda Dean. After graduating from high school, she worked for the Department of the Army at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. She married Alex J. Ksanznak in 1950 and became a devoted wife, loving mother, beloved grandmother and cherished great grandmother. Nancy was an accomplished seamstress and an avid reader. She loved the beach which is where she spent time with her family and had her fondest of memories during that time.
Listening to music was an essential part of her life. Her father was a musician, and she treasured her time listening to her two sons performing together. She is survived by her siblings, Cynthia Julian, Barbara Browne, and Douglas Dean. She leaves three children, Alex Ksanznak, Michael Ksanznak, Karin Ksanznak Feild. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Caleb Quaid Jessie Ksanznak and Adam Ksanznak as well as two great grandchildren, Kobe and Atlas Quaid.

Miguel Tersy, 90, passed away on April 1, 2021 in Silver Spring, MD. He was born in Palma Soriano, Cuba on June 13, 1930 to the late Edito Tersy and Maria Sanchez Tersy. He married the love of his life Marta Puig on Jan. 2, 1960. He worked for the Ford Motor Company in the Mawah, NJ plant as an assembly worker for 12 years. He is predeceased by his sister, Edita and his brother Luis Manuel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two brothers: Quintin Raul Tersy and Guillermo Tersy; two sisters: Adela Perez and Josefa Hernandez; his three children: Miguel Tersy (Teresa), Jorge Tersy (Aimee) and Barbara Martinez (Carlos); his beloved six grandchildren: Alex Tersy, Rebecca Tersy, Marisa Tersy, Zachery Martinez, Joshua Martinez (Molly), and Seth Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews.
